What a day.
So I wake up and find out that we're going to the art gallery. Right away.
You all know Damien Hirst, right?
The artist who cut up the cow?
So he has a few pieces up in the gallery for this months "print" theme.
I couldn't stop laughing. Funny stuff. It was apparently inspired by the last supper. So what he did was take the labels off well known medications and changed their names to "egg and chips" and things like that.
My mom said it had some deep, thought provoking meaning. I, frankly, am still doubtful.
Then there was the piece Devastations of War, not by Hirst but some other guy. It was a series of prints but the most eye catching of them all was a print of a little boy, completely normal besides the fact that his nose had been replaced by a penis and his mouth by an arse-hole there wasn't an explanation, so I put it down to the after effects of agent orange.
lolz.

After that Mark came over to spend the night. Instead of making polite conversation, I gave him Frank Miller's The Dark Knight Returns.
I nodded off at 12:00
He slept at 4:00am.
So the next morning he woke up before me.
And he read The Day I Traded My Dad for Two Goldfish (Neil Gaiman)
And SuperMan vs Dracula.
And Understanding Manga.
Wow.

Then today I got a RM40.00 ang pau from some old schoolmate of my parents!!!

So Jun Ian got a comic blog himself now...

Totally eventful day, today. So first I ran into Jason at school. Apparently his car pool driver met with an accident. With a lorry. While jason was in the car. I wonder if he ever got all the glass out of his bag.
So later you see Jun Ian running straight into a wall. Then he starts moaning to the effect of something like: "I can't believe I just fucking did that" Later we find that he has confessed his infatuation for Her. wow.
Later at the LRT station Amani gave Sparkles her little paperbag of books to hold. He left it in the train. Fortunately there was someone who Sparkles knew still in there and she's holding on to it at the mo'. How exciting.

Hello, and welcome to my very own little corner of the web. Yup. So here I shall ramble on about meself and maybe post the occasional comic strip. BUT BEFORE ALL THAT I would like to tell you about my visit to the island of Penang. First, lemme introduce the cast: (actually if you are impatient you don't necessarily need to read the cast. It dosent add much to the story)

Dad
He's my dad. Does dadly stuff and so forth.

Mom
My mom. Does motherly stuff.

Parents' friend (M)
A friend of my Parents. Male.

Parents' friend (F)
A friend of my Parents. Female.

The two parents' friends are NOT involved with each other.

--Her 2 cousins from Austrailia, Sara(h?) and Lisa.

Now that you know the characters, It's time to start!

*DAY 1*
We took two cars. One with my family inside and another with everyone else.There was a lot of driving. After a while we stopped in a little town called Bidor to eat breakfast in a coffeeshop. We acquisitioned two tables. One for the Adults and the other for us "kiddies". There we find that The Three Girls don't talk. And neither do I, much. So at our table there was a whole lotta silence. Uncomfortale. Later, back on the road, I noticed a group of monkeys, completely oblivious of the cars passing them at 80kmph. Just before we passed them I saw one sniffing anothers butt, then quickly mounting her. I laughed.

*Day 2*
There was a lot of eating. At four-ish we went swimming in the sea. The ice started to break. We talked. Not much, though. My brother stubbed his toe. After dinner, Parents' friend (F) wanted to take The Three Girls out to the night stalls to buy souveneirs. I followed because fake t-shirts are cheap. We walked 3km but I bought NOTHING. The girls bought typical souveneirs, some pocket things with colourful studs and so forth. Later I got my own souveneirs in the form of complimentry shampoo and a book stolen from the hotel's library.

*Day 3*
Went to a reptile farm. Later, we went swimming in the sea again, because that was fun. After like an hour Lisa decided to go further out and like little lemmings, we followed. Everyone got stung by jellyfish. By everyone I mean Dylan, Lisa and Sara(h?). They had to get shots.

*Day 4*
We checked out. We stopped off in Ipoh for lunch. That was so totally the highlight of the trip for me. I had a bowl of curry mee, then later a bowl of dry curry mee. After lunch we split up Because my mom had a meeting in Ipoh. Got home about 6ish.

Overall I think it was better than my last visit to Penang, where I got bitten by a monkey and sprained my arm playing Ultraman.
